Mission Statement
Our mission is to promote and establish effective public safety communications through community partnership and collaborative inter-agency planning strategies that best serve the first responders and residents of Cherokee County.
The Radio Technology Department is responsible for managing the Cherokee County Emergency Responder Radio System to include all of the subscriber radios used by the responders. The Cherokee County Emergency Responder Radio System is a Motorola P25 Phase II system that provides simulcast trunked communications for the County and City first responders of Cherokee and is part of the Cobb County Regional Radio System that includes Cobb, Forsyth, Bartow, Douglas, and Polk counties.
