Directions

There is free parking directly behind the Courthouse.  The entrance is on the right directly before the Courthouse.  If you miss that entrance, make the next right.  You may park in that open parking lot, or turn right and drive to the parking deck behind the Courthouse.

 From Norcross and Atlanta [arriving by expressway]:

Take I-85 South to I-285 West.  Take I-75 North for about 15 miles to I-575.  Bear right onto I-575. Travel north approximately 20 miles to Georgia Highway 20 (Exit number 19).  At the top of the exit turn right and cross over I-575.  Travel along this road approximately 2 miles.  The Cherokee County Justice Center is a four-story granite building on the right.

From Norcross [arriving by a slightly more scenic route]:

Take I-85 North to Georgia Highway 20.  Turn left onto Hwy 20.  Travel about 45 miles, crossing over Peachtree Industrial Blvd., Ga. 400, and I-575.  After crossing over I-575, drive approximately 2 miles.  The Cherokee County Justice Center is a four-story granite building on the right.

From Rome and Cartersville (via Georgia Highway 20):

Travel south from Rome on I-75 to Georgia Highway 20.  Exit onto Hwy 20 and turn left.  Travel approximately 20 miles.  Cross over Highway 5 (Canton Road).  Approximately 1 mile later you will see the town square on the left (you'll be on Main Street).  Stay in the left lane, drive to the end of Main Street, and turn left.  Move into the right lane.  The road will bend sharply left.  Turn into the parking lot at the bottom of the hill before passing the Courthouse.

From Rome and Cartersville [arriving by expressway]:

Travel south on I-75 to Chastain Road.  Exit onto Chastain Road and turn left.  Travel approximately 1.5 miles and follow the signs to turn left onto I-575 North.  Travel north approximately 10 miles to Georgia Highway 20 (Exit 19).  At the top of the exit turn right and cross over I-575.  Travel along this road approximately 2 miles.  The Cherokee County Justice Center is a four-story granite building on the right.

 From Ellijay and the Blue Ridge (via I-575):

Take Interstate 575 south to Riverstone Parkway (Exit 20) and turn right.  Travel approximately 2 miles and turn left onto Georgia Highway 20.  Approximately 1 mile later you will see the town square on the left (you'll be on Main Street).  Stay in the left lane, drive to the end of Main Street, and turn left.  Move into the right lane.  The road will bend sharply left.  Turn into the parking lot at the bottom of the hill before passing the Courthouse.
