Biography
Bryan Reynolds is the Agency Director for the Cherokee County Community Services Agency. Prior to his appointment to this role in 2019, he served as the Recreation & Parks Director for nine years. He began his career with Cherokee County in 1997 and filled several roles for Recreation & Parks including athletic programming, community outreach and park operations. Prior to joining Cherokee County, Bryan began his career in public recreation as an athletic supervisor with the City of Albany, GA.
A 1992 graduate of Georgia Southern University, Bryan holds a Bachelor of Health Science degree with a major in Sports Management and minor in Business Administration. He served two years at Georgia Southern as a graduate assistant during which he taught physical activity classes and served as a research assistant in the Health Science department. He is certified by the National Recreation and Parks Association as a Certified Park and Recreation Professional. He has previously held certifications as a Playground Safety Inspector by the National Playground Safety Institute and a Certified Turf Grass Professional by the University of Georgia.
Bryan is an active member of the Cherokee County Chamber of Commerce, having served as a member of the board of directors from 2014 through 2018 including serving as the 2017 Chairman. He currently serves on the Chamber’s Government Affairs Council and Going Green committee. He is also an active member of the Georgia Recreation and Parks Association, having served on the Board of Trustees from 2015 - 2017. He is a 2013 graduate of Leadership Cherokee and a graduate of Leadership GRPA and the George Harris Executive Management Institute.
Bryan and his wife, Kristi, married in 1994. They have two children. They reside in Cherokee County. When they’re not doing something with their children, they enjoy golf, the outdoors, Georgia Southern Eagles football and Tampa Bay Lightning hockey!
